RaceMetrics has added four new columns to My Card that measure trainer form over the fourteen days immediately before each race. The columns show runners, winners, strike rate and A-E (actual-to-expected ratio), all calculated as of the race date.
The fourteen-day figures sit alongside the existing four-week columns, letting you compare short-term form against the longer window. The same columns are available for jockeys.
How to use it
Open My Card and select Customise to access the column builder. In the Form Stats group, you will find the four new 14-day columns. Add them to your card and save your layout.
Click the fourteen-day strike rate heading to sort yards by recent form, with the in-form stables at the top. The A-E column shows whether a yard is winning more often than the market priced in (above 1.0) or less often (below 1.0).
All figures are point-in-time — when you view a card from a previous race day, the columns show the form each stable carried into that specific date, not current figures. This applies to System Builder filters as well, so form angles can be back-tested across historical racing data.
