RaceMetrics has launched a new 3D race replay feature that reconstructs every race from sectional data. Each horse gallops at the stride rate recorded in the actual race data, and the running order updates in real time with gaps shown in lengths. The finish matches the official result exactly.

How It Works

The replay begins with the field breaking from the stalls in draw order. Every runner carries their actual silks. A purple-coloured "par ghost" runs the race's par sectionals — the ground-adjusted splits that would record this race's actual winning time with the effort spread perfectly evenly — showing you how the pace was distributed.

You can switch between multiple camera angles, including a drone view and a chase camera. Click any horse to follow it, or ride onboard with the jockey. You can scrub to any point in the race to examine specific moments.

How to Access It

The 3D replay appears in the Sectional Analysis panel on every race result page. It is available to Proform Premium members with the Sectionals add-on.
