What you need
Sectional timing analysis is an add-on, not part of the base subscription. Two pieces are required:
- A RaceMetrics Pro (£75/month) or Proform Premium (£97.50/month) subscription
- The TPD Sectional Timing Add-On at £50/month
The add-on is arranged by emailing admin@racemetrics.co.uk and paid by bank transfer. The full £50 is passed on to Total Performance Data (TPD), the GPS tracking company whose data powers the analysis — we partnered with TPD to make this data more affordable than their direct individual pricing.
What you get
Thirteen analysis tabs on RaceMetrics covering finishing speed percentages, stride length and cadence, pace maps, predicted running styles, par-based pace curves and animated race replays — the same class of sectional data used by professional analysts.
The two gotchas
1. A direct TPD subscription doesn't unlock it. The add-on must be set up through Proform. If you already subscribe to TPD directly, that subscription is separate from ours — you'd need set up the add-on through us instead.
2. It's historical data, not the live feed. The add-on provides historical sectional data for analysis and research. It is not TPD's live in-running feed.
For desktop exporters
Proform Premium desktop users who want to export the full historical sectional dataset have a separate TPD option that requires the first year paid upfront. If that's you, email us and we'll walk you through it.
