When a race result surprises you, the Sectional Analysis accordion is the first place to look. Found directly on the race result popup in purple, it opens to show the sectional story without leaving the result in front of you.

What's Inside

Sectional Analysis displays the times at each furlong marker, finishing-speed percentages, positions through the race, and running-style classifications. This is the same engine as the full Sectionals workspace, but summarised against the result you're already viewing.

The timing tabs are all there for deeper analysis if needed.

When to Use It

Sectional Analysis is built for moments when a result needs explaining. A short-priced favourite beaten typically shows a horse sent too hard and emptied. A surprise winner often reveals a horse nursed through the race and finishing fastest.

Beyond the Result

The same sectional data follows a horse to its profile page, where two signals sit: Distance DNA and the Full-of-Running flag. These turn sectional patterns into next-time-out angles.

Sectional Analysis is available on race results across the platform.
