Cheltenham Festival Query Recipes
RaceMetrics has added all Cheltenham Festival races to the Query Recipes tool. Each race now offers three viewing modes.
Trend Breakdown displays 16 statistical sections covering Age, Market, Nationality, Last Time Out, Days Since Last Run, BHA Rating, Headgear, Beaten Favourite Last Time Out, Country Bred, Sex, Course & Festival Experience, Discipline Runs, Season Runs/Wins, and Weight (handicaps).
Leaderboard ranks top trainers, jockeys, or sires for a specific race.
Winners List shows all past winners of the race.
Qualifiers and Year Filter
When declarations are available on the Sunday before the Festival, a Qualifiers button appears. This displays a per-runner table mapping each declared horse to the relevant trend buckets.
Use the Year filter to isolate data from a single year. To view only past winners, change the query from "ultima handicap chase trends" to "ultima handicap chase winners".
Top Score + Rating Query Button
A new Query Button called "Top Score + Rating" ranks horses #1 for both RaceMetrics Combined Score and Horse Rating (H) in each race.
Ranking & Price Filters on A-Z
A second filter bar on A-Z pages narrows runners by in-race ranking or price movement.
- H Rank: Show runners ranked Top 1, Top 2, or Top 3 by Horse Rating within their race, or view all runners.
- Score Rank: Show runners ranked Top 1, Top 2, or Top 3 by combined Score within their race, or view all runners.
- Price Drop: Filter by price shortening: Breakfast shorter than Evening, Morning shorter than Evening, Morning shorter than Breakfast, or any price shortening across any stage.
Active filters display a count of matching runners and a Reset button to clear selections.
