What Is the RM7 Competition?
The RM7 is a weekly tipping competition where you select 7 participants — one horse, one trainer, one jockey, one owner, one sire, one dam, and one damsire — and score points based on their RaceMetrics Rating changes throughout the week.
Each week runs Monday to Sunday, with entries opening on Monday and locking before the first race. Your selections are scored daily, and cumulative scores determine the leaderboard.
How to Enter
Navigate to the Competition page from the main menu. When a competition is open, you will see the entry form. Search for participants using the search bar, which returns results with their current rating and cost.
You have a budget of 10,500 points to spend across your 7 picks. Higher-rated participants cost more, so balancing value and potential is key. Each participant type can only be selected once.
Scoring
Points are awarded based on the RaceMetrics Rating changes of your selected participants. If your trainer has runners that perform well during the week, their rating rises and you score positive points. Poor results mean negative points.
Daily scores are calculated and posted to the leaderboard. You can track your progress throughout the week on the Dashboard tab.
The Stats Centre
Use the Stats Centre tabs to inform your picks. The Dashboard shows top movers by rating change. The Agent tab suggests an optimal 7-pick team within budget. The Essentials tab shows the most active participants by runner count. Use these tools to find value selections.
Prizes and Credits
Weekly competitions carry cash prizes for the top finishers. Prize credits are stored in your account and can be used for future entries. Check the competition page for current prize fund details.
Badges
Earn achievement badges for milestones like winning a competition, finishing in the top 3, or maintaining a streak. Badges appear on your profile and the leaderboard.
