Using Race Results to Track Performance Changes

The Race Results page on RaceMetrics displays finished races with detailed information about every runner, including their finishing position and how their RaceMetrics Rating changed. Whether you're tracking a specific horse, trainer, or jockey, this data shows you exactly how ratings shifted after each race.

Finding race results quickly

From your dashboard, teal date pills on the right side of the date bar display the last five days with available results. Click any date pill to view that day's races. For older results, use the calendar picker to navigate back to January 2018.

You can also access results from profile pages — click any race row in the "Races" tab to open full details. Once a race has run on the Racecards page, click the race to see results immediately.

Reading the dashboard results view

Each race card shows the race time, class, prize money, winner's name, and starting price. An "F" indicator marks winners that were backed as favourites. Click any card to open the complete results page with finishing positions and all RaceMetrics Rating changes.

Navigating the full results page

The amber header displays the race time, course, full race name, and date. Below it, a grey bar lists the distance, race type (Flat or NH), class, going, and number of runners.

Use the hamburger menu to jump between results. Click the date header to select a different date with the calendar picker, browse courses that raced that day, or click time pills to navigate to other races from the same card.

What the full results tab shows

The Full Results tab displays each runner as a detailed card showing finishing position, silks, beaten distance, jockey, trainer, in-running comment, and starting price. This format lets you see the complete race story alongside rating movements.
