Understanding Race Results on RaceMetrics

The Race Results page gives you detailed finishing positions and RaceMetrics Rating changes for every completed race. It's the hub for reviewing how horses, jockeys, and trainers performed — and how their ratings shifted as a result.

Four Ways to View Race Results

From your Dashboard, teal date pills on the right side of the Racecards tab show the last 5 days of results. Click any race card to open the full details. If you need results from further back, use the calendar picker to jump to any date since January 2018.

You can also reach results from Profile Pages: click any race row in the Races tab, or from Racecards themselves — once a race has run, click it to see the outcome.

What You'll See on the Dashboard

Each race card displays the off-time, class, prize money, winner's name, and starting price. An "F" indicator shows whether the winner was the favourite. Click any card to access the full results page with finishing positions and rating changes.

Navigating the Results Page

The amber header shows race time, course, name, and date. Below it, a grey bar lists distance, type (Flat or National Hunt), class, going, and runner count.

To move between races, use the hamburger menu. Click the date header to select a different date, browse course sections that ran that day, or jump to specific race times. The current race is highlighted in teal.

Full Results Tab

The default Full Results tab presents a detailed card-based view. Each runner shows finishing position, silks, beaten distance, jockey, trainer, in-running comment, and starting price. This gives you the complete picture of how the race unfolded.
