Pattern Manager: Track and Alert on Your Profitable Angles
The Pattern Manager lets you capture profitable angles you discover during your research and receive automatic alerts when matching conditions appear on upcoming racecards. Instead of manually checking the same filters repeatedly, your patterns do the work for you.
Your Pattern Overview
When you open Pattern Manager, four summary cards give you a snapshot of your saved patterns:
- Total: How many patterns you've saved
- Active: How many are currently enabled
- Avg ROI: Your average return across all patterns
- Types: How many different participant types you're tracking
Creating a Pattern
Patterns start on profile pages. Once you identify a profitable angle—say a trainer excels at a particular course—apply your filters to isolate that condition. Then click "Save Current View as Pattern". The system captures your active filters as the pattern's matching conditions.
What Filters Define a Pattern?
Your pattern can include any combination of these conditions:
- Specific trainer, jockey, sire, dam, damsire, owner, or horse
- Course or course type
- Distance range
- Race class or type
- Going conditions
- Price range (odds)
Organise Your Patterns
As your pattern library grows, use the built-in controls to stay organised. Filter by participant type (Trainers, Jockeys, Sires, etc.), view Active patterns only, or sort by Newest first, Best ROI, Most Runs, or Alphabetical order.
Reading a Pattern Card
Each pattern displays the participant name, type badge, and your filter conditions. Below that, you'll see stats since you saved it: Runs, Wins, Strike Rate, P/L, and ROI. Toggle the pattern Active or Inactive without deleting it, or use the Actions menu to view the full profile or remove it entirely.
Pattern Manager turns one-off discoveries into ongoing alerts, helping you spot opportunities faster as new racecards arrive.
