Master the RaceMetrics Dashboard: Your Guide to Leaderboards and Performance Data

The RaceMetrics dashboard puts the platform's seven profile types — horses, trainers, jockeys, sires, dams, damsires and owners — into ranked leaderboards sorted by RaceMetrics Rating. It's the quickest way to see who's performing and identify emerging talent or form changes across the sport.

Navigate Between Views

Seven navigation tabs sit at the top of the page. Switch between Racecards (today's and upcoming meetings), individual leaderboards for each profile type, the weekly RM7 competition, your saved patterns, an A-Z directory of declared runners, and the non-runners list. Each tab opens a different view of the same core data.

Filter to What Matters

Four filtering options let you narrow the leaderboards. Search by name using "Contains" (matches anywhere) or "Begins" (matches the start). Activity filters show only participants with recent runs — select 7, 14, 30, 90, or 365 days. Min Races filters out one-hit wonders by requiring a minimum number of runs (options vary by profile type). For trainers and jockeys, filter by Flat or Jumps racing.

Read the Summary Stats

Three cards above each leaderboard show: Total (number of matching participants), Highest (the top rating), and Average (mean rating across the filtered group). Use these to gauge the overall strength of the population you're examining.

Spot Form Shifts with Biggest Movers

Every leaderboard includes a "Biggest Movers" section. Select a time period of 7, 14, 28, 56, or 90 days, then toggle between "In Form" (rising ratings) and "Out of Form" (falling ratings). This reveals who's improving, who's hit a purple patch, or who's experiencing a dip.
