Bet Finder is Proform's filtering tool for narrowing down runners across UK and Ireland race cards. It loads every qualifying runner for today's racing and lets you filter to a focused shortlist in seconds rather than scanning forms manually.

The basics

Open Bet Finder and it displays several hundred runners across the day's meetings. Filters appear on the left, results on the right, with a live count of how many runners still qualify. Each filter shows its own count before you click, so you can see the effect of stacking filters before applying them.

Stacking filters

Add multiple filters in sequence to narrow the field. For example, select 'Winner Last Time' to show only horses that won last time out. Add 'Trainer in Form' on top, and the list contracts further to show last-time-out winners trained by yards currently firing. A counter at the bottom tracks how many filters are active and how many runners remain in your shortlist.

Three modes

Bet Finder operates in three modes. Bet mode filters for horses to back. Lay mode flips to negative angles — unplaced last time, dislikes certain conditions, trainer or jockey out of form, never won at the distance. Trade mode is built for exchange trading, with filters for likely back-to-lay angles, consistent leaders, slow breakers and good draws.

Power Ratings

Filters include access to Proform's Power Ratings. Show every runner, or narrow to just the top-rated horse in each race, the top two, or top three.

Back-testing

With an angle set up, click back to a previous day. Bet Finder shows exactly how those selections performed — finishing positions, race results and in-running data. This gives an instant back-test of your angle against real results.

Refining your selection

By default, Bet Finder covers every UK and Ireland meeting. Use the race dropdown to focus on a single course, an individual race, or use the Flat, Jump and UK tabs to filter by racing type. Advanced filters allow you to narrow further by race type, class and distance — select handicaps only, for example.

Saving angles

Once you have a filter combination you like, hit Save and name it. Bet Finder remembers the mode, active filters and sort order. Next time, Load it back and your setup is restored in one click. Build your own library of angles over time.
