Eleven Horses Make Handicap Debuts on 25 February 2026

Eleven horses are running in handicaps for the first time across four racecourses on 25 February 2026. The entries span four venues and range from Official Ratings of 50 to 113.

Wincanton Dominates the Day

Wincanton hosts six of the eleven debuts. Man Maid runs in the Follow RacingTV On X Mares' Handicap Hurdle at 14:20, with Harriet Dickin training and Miss Megan Bevan in the saddle. The horse carries an Official Rating of 99.

The Albert Bartlett Triple Crown Series Handicap Hurdle at 15:20 features five debut handicap runners. Kiwi Rush, trained by Harry Derham with Brendan Powell as jockey, is the highest-rated in the entire field at 113. Hans Lippershey (109) runs for Ben Case with J M Quinlan aboard. Can You Hear Me (106) represents Philip Hobbs with Callum Pritchard as amateur rider. Hello Fortune (101) is trained by Nick Gifford with James Davies riding.

Lingfield and Kempton Share Remaining Entries

Lingfield hosts one debut: Harry Don't Bite, trained by Camilla Poulton and ridden by John Egan, rated 53 in the Win 250,000 With BetMGM's Golden Goals Handicap at 15:12.

Kempton has four debut handicap runners across three races. Saturday Again (50) runs for Simon Dow with Paddy Bradley at 17:05 in the Unibet Support Safer Gambling Handicap. Bronte Beach (62), trained by Archie Watson with Jason Hart, features in the Try Unibet's New Smartview Racecards Handicap at 18:40.
