Ask RaceMetrics lets you interrogate the entire racing database in plain English. Type a question about trainers, jockeys, horses, sires, courses, ratings or markets, and the answer comes back as a sortable table or chart within seconds.

The engine converts your sentence into a database query automatically. Results are sortable by any column, and names link directly to full RaceMetrics profiles. You can switch between table and chart views — line, bar, and pie charts are available — and export results to spreadsheet or image.

How to use it

  • Type a question in the Ask box. For cleaner results, name the metric and set minimum thresholds (for example, "top ten trainers by strike rate with at least fifty runners, this year").
  • Hit Run Query. Processing takes a few seconds.
  • Read the plain-English summary at the top to confirm how your question was read, along with row count and query time.
  • Sort columns by clicking any heading.
  • Export the result or switch to a chart view.

Query Recipes

Eleven ready-made Query Recipes cover common angles: leaderboards, record lookups, course stats, in-form trainers, in-running trading, festival trends, and runners on today's cards. Select options from dropdowns, watch the plain-English preview build itself, and run without typing a word.

Type a forward slash for instant commands, open the Keyword Guide to see every term the engine understands, or use voice input to ask your question aloud. Your daily query allowance is displayed on the page.
